Mamahood is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization creating connection, support, and community for new and expecting mothers across Northeast Ohio.

What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a thriving, 100% volunteer-run community offering free meetups, peer support, and meaningful connection for moms navigating one of life’s biggest transitions.

Over the past year, Mamahood has expanded from weekly first-year mom meetups into a growing network of support, including pregnancy & infant loss meetups, alumni gatherings, and our Big/Little mentorship program.

  • expand support for first-year moms and mothers experiencing loss

  • foster meaningful connection through our Big/Little program

  • create safe, welcoming spaces where mothers feel seen, supported, and less alone
